The story of the movie is all about a man who falls in love with a woman (Deepika Padukone) on the French island of Corsica, It has a normal kind of love which turns the normal man into great lover. Main theme of the story is “Why you need a woman in life and how it takes you on a journey through which we identify ourselves.”Earlier makers revealed the ‘agar tum saath ho’ movie song which is sung by Alka Yagnik and Arjit Singh which is tuned by AR Rahman.

Director “Imtiaz Ali” said that, “music in the film has been used as a narrative to enhance the inherent drama of the situation without dialogue. It has been said that soundtrack includes a track inspired by European Dance Music genre when the music parade is travelling to Corsica,  Tamasha’s new song ‘Matargashti’. It’s like Deepika and Ranbir were told, “just pretend like you’re having the best time in the world.
